3). T ask, Ss answer:

4). Read: shape

  先让学生读tape, 再来比较读shape。

2. Teach: square

1). T: Look. I have a towel here. Is it a circle?

  Ss: No.

  T: What shape is it?

  Ss(引导学生回答): It’s a square.

3. Teach: rectangle

1). T: We all have an English book. What shape is our English book?

  Listen. It’s a rectangle. (重复：rectangle)

2). Read: rectangle

3). Ask and answer:

  What shape is your book? It’s a rectangle.

4. Show the pictures of the dialogue.

1). T: Look at this picture. What shape is it?

  Ss: It’s a rectangle.

  T: Let’s open it and have a look. (将挂图逐一挂在黑板上) Who can you see in the picture?

  S1: I can see Miss Li.

  S2: I can see Nancy.

  T: What are they doing? Are they having an English lesson?

  Ss: No, they aren’t.

  T: What lesson are they having? Let’s listen to the preface.
