1. Conclude the two sentence patterns.

2. Show the sentence pattern:

  Whose … is it? It’s mine/his/hers.

3. Show Ss Picture 1, T and Ss ask together.

4. Look at Picture 2

1). Ask and answer in pairs.

2). Ask some Ss to say.

5. Look at Picture 3

1). Practise in pairs.

2). Ask and answer in role.

6. Show the sentence pattern:

  Whose … are they? They’re mine/his/hers.

7. Look at Picture 4 and Picture 6, let Ss practise.

Step 5. Consolidation:

T: I have a lot of presents here. Do you know? Whose are they?Guess, please! 

Show Ss the sentence pattern:Whose … is it?
