T: We all know that Hainan, Shanghai, Xi’an and Yunnan are beautiful places. I think most of us want to go there. Here the problem is that the four of you must go on a trip together, that is to say, you can only go to a city. Now you can have a discuss and decide where you want to go and why you want to go there.
Travel 1: I think that Hainan is the best place to go because there are many places of interest there, like “Tianyahaijiao” in the city of Sanya. We can enjoy its beautiful scenery over there. We can experience the exciting underwater world of Hainan. We can also go hiking in the nearby hills. Above all, I hear there will be a world model competition held there. We can have such a golden chance to see the famous models from all over the world. And I don’t want to go to Shanghai because it’s too noisy. There are too many people, cars and buses. It’s not safe for our travel.
Travel 2: I disagree. Shanghai is a shopper’s paradise! I can buy a lot of fashionable clothes which will make me more attractive and charming. On the other hand, we can enjoy a weekend of good food and in one of the world’s largest and most beautiful cities.
Travel 3: I don’t agree with you. I don’t want to go to Hainan because it’s too hot in summer. We also can see the world model competition on TV. In my opinion, we’d better go to Xi’an, which is a famous old capital. There are many old buildings and cultural relics, which can help us understand how people lived in the past. Protecting our cultural relics is an important task and we should take it seriously. We learn the knowledge of them in order that we can try hard to protect our cultural relics. A journey to Xi’an is a history lesson in real life. What’s more, we can take a lot of pictures to leave us a deep impression.
Travel 4: I don’t agree with you. I think the best place to go is Yunnan because we can visit Yunnan and learn more about the many Chinese minorities who live there.
Travel 2: As for Yunnan, I don’t want to go there, for it’s very far and the traffic is not so good. Also, we are not familiar with the customs of the minorities who live there. Their native tongues are various so that we can’t understand at all. In the course of our traveling, we can sing songs to relax, especially when we see a lot of beautiful clothes, animals and so on. I have decided to go to Shanghai, no other places will be considered.
Travel 1: I’d like to go to Shanghai. Yeah, there are many famous expensive restaurants over there. I can enjoy them from morning till night, which will make my travel more meaningful. That’s my decision.
Travel 3: If Traveller 4 can get up early to make sure of our activities smoothly, I am willing to go to Shanghai too, because we are good friends after all. I don’t leave you alone.
Travel 4: Since you all have made up your minds, I have to agree with you as long as Traveller 2 don’t sing songs more often when he sees beautiful things. The people in the street will think we are mental strains. Don’t forget, we are united as one. We should carry out some rules and follow them, OK?
