一、本节三维目标要求

二、重点与难点
本节的重点是光的折射规律,难点是用光的折射规律解释现象。
三、教学实施建议
(一)教学过程展开
本节分为三个教学板块,(1)通过实验探究,认识和归纳光的折射规律;(2)通过体验由折射引起的错觉,认识光路的可逆性;(3)通过欣赏奇异的折射现象,学习用光的折射规律解释有关简单的折射现象。
1.实验探究过程设计:
首先让学生观看海市蜃楼的图片(图4-4-1)或视频(见所附光盘),引起学生的学习兴趣。然后通过观察图4-4-2的实验现象引入课题,从而激发学生的思维,引发学生思考。
用实验演示光从空气射入水中的折射现象时,教师应引导学生从实验现象抽象出光的折射示意图,最后画出光路图,由此认识入射点、入射光线、折射光线、法线、入射角、反射角等,为进一步探究光的折射规律作准备。有许多同学认为反射现象和折射现象二者不会同时发生。但事实上常常是反射和折射同时发生。借助这个演示实验,要澄清学生的模糊认识。
实验探究中,应先介绍实验装置:激光光源、玻璃砖等。让学生猜想,一束光射到玻璃砖平面上,进入玻璃的光线将沿什么方向行进,如果改变方向,是向界面偏折呢,还是向法线偏折?明确观察目的和观察对象。实验时,应改变入射光线的方向三次,注意观察玻璃中折射光线的方向怎样改变,记录光路。实验中如何记录光路,对学生是一个难点。教师应引导学生由发光点、入射点、从玻璃的出射点来确定光路。最后,让学生总结出光从空气斜射入玻璃中时的折射规律。
由于教材面对的是刚刚接触物理的初中生,所以在这里仅仅要求学生通过自己的实验和观察得到一些有关折射现象的感性规律:“折射光线与入射光线、法线在同一平面内;折射定律和入射光线分居法线两侧;光的空气斜射入玻璃中或其他介质中时,折射光线靠近法线,折射角小于入射角。”事实上,在真正的科学史的发展历程上,人们对折射现象的认识,尤其是对折射现象的理性化认识经历了一个十分漫长和参与者众多的过程。
