第一部分：模块辅导
一、 语言功能
本模块话题为“hobby”, 是中考要求的话题之一，也是距离学生生活很近的
一个话题。通过学习本模块学生应该能够运用恰当的语言来谈论自己的兴趣爱好。学生可以从如何开始自己的爱好谈起，到如何进一步自己的兴趣，以及评价兴趣和爱好给自己的生活带来了哪些乐趣与变化。课文中以下语言可供使用：
谈论爱好：1. My hobby is … (doing)
2. I enjoy doing … very much.
3. I am interested in …
4. I have a collection of …
5. I am a keen collector of …
6. I usually spend … on/ in doing …
形容爱好：Hobbies are relaxing/creative/interesting/ useful/boring.
评论爱好：1. Hobbies can make you grow as person, develop your interests and help you
learn new skills.
2. Hobbies can bring people enjoyment and success.
3. We shouldn’t spend all our time on our favorite hobby. There are many other
things to do in life, and we should try to do something new or different.
二、重点语句
1. Which hobby do you think takes up the least space?
take up 占据，占用（加时间或者地点）
这座村庄只占据了很少的地方。
The village only takes up a little space.
做作业占用了我大部分的时间。
Doing homework takes up most of my time.
2. Sorry it’s a bit untidy.
a bit 意思是“一点儿”， 可修饰形容词，不可数名词。
1) a bit + adj.
这双鞋有点紧。
The shoes are a bit tight.
2) a bit of +un.
我口袋里只有一点钱了。
I have got a bit of money in my pocket.
3) He is quite a bit younger than me.
他比我年轻多了。
此处 a bit 修饰的是比较级，但前面加上quite意思不是“一点”而是“很多”。
3. What made you so interested in music?
1) make sb. adj.
运动使我们强壮。
Sports make us strong.
收藏名画使他富有。
Collecting famous paintings makes him rich.
2) be interested in sth.
他对汽车模型很感兴趣。
He is interested in car models.
她从五岁起就对舞蹈感兴趣。
She has been interested in dancing since five years old

listen to sb. do sth.
小的时候我经常听妈妈弹钢琴。
When I was young I often listen to my mum play the piano.
5. Can you relax now?
relax 本身为动词，由它衍生出来的形容词有relaxed及 relaxing。其中relaxed修饰人，
表示“放松的”， 而relaxing修饰物，表示“使人放松的”。
I feel relaxed after watching the relaxing TV program.
The relaxing film made me relaxed.
同样的动词还有bore, interest, please, amaze, surprise等。
6. Some hobbies are relaxing and others are creative.
some… others 一些……其余的
some… the others 一些……所有其余的
不要总听别人的，你应该有自己的见解。
Don’t always listen to others.
他是家里唯一读过书的孩子—其余的均辍学了
He is the only one that has been to school– the others all dropped out of school.
7. It’s difficult to remember that we should spend all our time on our hobbies.

三、语法点拨
英语语句共有以下几种基本句型：
（1）主语+谓语（不及物动词）（+状语）
His first book came out in 2003.
他第一本书于2003年出版。
（2）主语+谓语（及物动词）+宾语（+状语）
He left school in 1998.
他1998年从学校毕业。
（3）主语+系动词+表语（+状语）
The weather is getting quite warm.
天气变得相当暖和。
I feel good today.
我今天心情很好。
（4）主语+谓语（及物动词）+间接宾语+直接宾语（+状语）
His hobbies brought him enjoyment and success.
他的爱好给他带来乐趣与成功。
= His hobbies brought enjoyment and success to him.
（5）主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补足语（+状语）
Talking to him makes me happy.
跟他谈话让我很开心。
