教案编写说明:本教案是根据新目标英语八年级上册第10单元Section A: 1a,1b,1c的内容编写的,Grammar Focus的内容也包括在里面。由于我校是一所农村中学(学校使用多媒体时间只有三年),学生接受知识的能力有限。因此每单元我都分成六课时完成新课。这是第一课时。|

赖泽莲简介:生于1972年3月,91年8月参加工作,并且一直从事初中英语教学工作,在学校任英语教研组组长已有13年了,也是县中心英语组成员,片区教研组组长。94年被评为泸州市优秀外语教师;95年,主研的课题《农村初中小学教学衔接研究》,获得县教学成果三等奖;96年7月,负责主研的课题《农村新目标英语个性化练习设计研究》在市上立项,并已展开研究。有多篇教学论文获奖或发表。

Step 3.Competition (3minutes)

How many jobs do you know ?Draw a chart two columns on the Bb.

T: Boys and girls: Please write the jobs on the Bb.

In this way,help them to review the words they have learned about job before such as teacher,doctor,reporter,policeman.waiter, policewoman,nurse,shop assistant, bank clerk, driver,and so on.

Step 4.New words learning (SectionA 1a 10 minutes)

Show some pictuers to Ss and help them to learn new words.

1)      Look at the cards and guess what jobs they are doing?

2)      Then read each word and explain both in English and Chinese .Ss repeat after the teacher.

Step 5 Presentation : (5 minutes)

Show a picture that Lily is dreaming.

T:I think Lily is going to be a dancer in 10 years in the future.I mean Lily is going to be a dancer when she grows up.(write grow up on the Bb)

T:Ask Lily :Would you like to be a dancer in the future ?

W:Yes ,I’d like to be a dancer.

T:That’s to say .She is going to be a dancer when she grows up.(write is going to on the Bb)

Today we will learn to talk about future intention using“ be going to”Understand?

Step 6 Target language (2 minutes)

Read the instructions.   Learn the target language:

What are you going to be when you grow up?

I’m going to be a computer programmer.

How are you going to do that?

I’m going to study computer science.

Step 7 Pair work (8 minutes)

1)  Ask students to look at the pictures in activity 1a. Then ask students to read the sample conversations in activity 1c.

2)  Ask students to work in pairs and make their own conversations.

3)  Ask some pairs to present one or more of their conversations to the class.

Step 8 Listening (7 minutes)

1) Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.

2 )Play again. Ask students to draw lines connecting the jobs and the activities.

3) Check the answers.

4) Ask What’s Tina going to be when she groups up? And how’s she going to do that ?

Step 9 Group work and a little report   (6 minutes)

What are you and your friends’ plan for the future?

Report : In my group,I am going to be an actor.I am going to take acting lessons.Wei Gang is going to be a teacher.He is going to  studyHard.Cheng Cheng is going to be a…. She is going to….

When they finished,ask some Ss read their compositions.

备课反思:

我通常采用单元整体备课:这个单元的主题是学习want to be 和 going to do的用法,以及介绍职业,讨论人们想做什么和将去做什么。教师在教授这些句子和语法时,要注意帮助学生实现他们的情感目标, 也就是说学生通过问和讨论他们想作为生活目标的职业,使他们学会关心别人。老师可以让学生在他们自己之间,同学之间,朋友之间以及家人之间进行不同职业的比较,然后找出最适合的职业,再介绍和提供给其他人。当然学生在设计和组织这些活动时要阐述理由。这项活动不仅能够锻炼目标语言,而且能够帮助学生学会选择合适自己的职业。通过这项实践活动可以激发学生的兴趣,让他们大胆的用英语表达,最大限度的让他们练习和展示自己,以及更加轻松、牢固地掌握知识。
