O Last Sunday ( by Luo Chen) At about six in the morning I got up, then I brushed my teeth, washed my face. I often do some exercise before breakfast, but I didn‘t do that day. The man in the shop made him try on a lot of glasses, but Tom always said, “ No, I can‘t read with these.” The man became more and more surprised. He said, “ Excuse me, but can you read?” “ No, of course I can’t!” Tom said. “ I think the good glasses can help me.” O A penguin (企鹅) One day a policeman was walking in the park. He saw a man there. The man was holding a penguin. The man said to the policeman, “ I found this penguin this morning. What shall I do with it?” “ Take it to the zoo,” said the policeman. The next day the policeman saw the man again. He was still holding the peniguin. The policeman said, “ Why didn‘t you take the penguin to the zoo?” “ I did,” said the man. “ I took him to the zoo yesterday. Today I’m taking him to the cineman. A child named David planted the seeds and looked after them carefully. But day after day, no flowers came out from the basin. He was very disappointed. It was time to show the most beautiful flowers. The children from all over the country came with their beautiful flowers. The king walked in front of the children. When he saw the beautiful flowers, he was very un happy. Suddenly, he saw a child carrying an empty basin. He was very glad and asked the boy, “ Why do you carry an empty basin?” The boy cried and told him the truth. But one of the neighbours did not like the noise. So one morning she took a knife and went into John’s room. John was making a noise with the drum. She said to him. “ Hello, John.
